After three successful years the Carleton Place Learning Expo returns to Carleton Place with the Teen Expo at Notre Dame Catholic High School on May 2
from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The goal of the Learning Expo has always been to provide a networking opportunity for parents, educators and local resources. The first three years of the event focused on children up to the age of six.

With added interest in the event from a broader audience, organizers decided to introduce the new Teen Expo for 2017. This event will take place in the beautiful new atrium at Notre Dame Catholic High School and focus on topics, businesses and services geared to youth ages 12 to 19.

Admission is free and open to the public. If you are a parent, educator, grade 7 to 12 student or community service provider this is the perfect event for you.

There will be exhibits relating to career planning, technology and social media awareness, parent support services, graduation and prom services, addiction support, volunteering, tutoring, mentorship, financial health and planning, nutrition and wellness, extracurricular activities and youth groups, entrepreneurship, mental health support services, and more.

Guest speakers and workshops will round out the event. All talks are free to attend. Follow the Expo Facebook page for announcements on special guests and links to exhibitors.
