Caroline Mulroney was in town March 6. During a quick whistle-stop campaign drop-by on her way from Peterborough, she spoke briefly to over 100 willing listeners at the Smiths Falls Lions Club on Abbott Street.

Mulroney, the Conservative party’s York-Simcoe riding candidate and eldest daughter of former prime minister Brian Mulroney, is vying for the leadership of the province’s PC party alongside former Toronto city councillor Doug Ford, former Whitby MPP Christine Elliott and Tanya Granic Allen.
