On Thursday, August 9, Dairy Queen fans in Carleton Place are encouraged to continue the 16-year tradition of making miracles happen by visiting their local Dairy Queen to celebrate Miracle Treat Day. Proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating Dairy Queen locations in Carleton Place, will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), one of 14 Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals across Canada.

Media are invited to attend Miracle Treat Day at their local Dairy Queen.

WHAT: Dairy Queen’s 16th Annual Miracle Treat Day in-store event
WHY: Every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment. These hospitals rely on community donations to ensure each child receives the best possible care.
WHERE: Your local Dairy Queen
WHEN: Thursday, August 9, 2018

Since the partnership began in 1984, DQ® has become a top contributor to Children’s Miracle Network, with over $135 million raised to-date in support of sick and injured children across North America.
