The CP Holiday Train rolled into Smiths Falls on Monday night, Nov. 27.

As a longstanding tradition it drew larger crowds than ever, eager to see the brightly decorated train decked out in thousands of lights. This year it even featured a Canada 150 themed car. And Santa with his helping elf payed a visit, welcoming kids both young and old.

The show put on by Colin James and Emma-Lee rocked the crowd.

Behind all the giggly festivities of this event lies a more serious cause, our support for our local food banks, and the those in attendance didn’t disappoint. On top of it, CP presented a cheque over $7,000 to the food bank as well.
