Et Cetera Home opened at 113 Bridge St. in Carleton Place on March 17 with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Louis Antonakos, many councillors, members of the Carleton Place BIA and the Carleton Place and District Chamber of Commerce.

“I’m just so happy to finally be here and open,” said Et Cetera Home owner Jo-Anne Seaton. Her husband Bart, son and two grandchildren were among the family members that travelled from other towns to celebrate the opening of her shop.

“Welcome to Carleton Place. We are so excited to have you here,” said Antonakos, adding that he thinks the new shop will make a great addition to Carleton Place’s downtown landscape.

In the location that used to be the Pickledish Quilt Shop and Studio, Et Cetera Home specializes in providing antique and vintage décor items for the home and garden. The shop is painted off-white and shiny jewellry, lush bedding, vases and more are sprinkled throughout the bright space, all offered at reasonable prices.

“The community has been so welcoming. We thank you so much,” said Seaton. Seaton and her husband extend a personal invitation to everyone in the community to stop for a visit.
