At the Feb. 14 Carleton Place council meeting,  staff  agreed to hire Ainley Graham Associates on an hourly basis to provide engineering and project management services for watermain and sanitary sewer lining work in the town.

The projects include lining the Flora Street watermain river crossing, Antrim Street sanitary sewer, Industrial Park North sanitary sewer and Ferrill Crescent sanitary sewer. These projects are part of the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund Program for 2017.

Ainley Graham Associates will start with an investigation of the current infrastructure and then design and management of rehabilitation. Payment is on an hourly basis since it’s unclear exactly how much work needs to be done and how long it will take.
