It’s time for the Lanark County Food Bank – The Hunger Stop’s annual Buy One, Give One Community Dinner when every ticket purchased doubles in value and extends an offer for a Food Bank client to attend the dinner too.
This year’s Feelin’ Groovy theme promises to be a whole lot of fun with the Mississippi Mudds – in full costume – acting as servers and the décor taking you back to the 60s and 70s.
Of course the food promises to be outtasight with our hip Chef Ian Carswell of The Black Tartan Kitchen directing volunteer kitchen staff to create mouth-watering delights along with Rob Carpenter of The Beckwith Butcher.
It’s all happening Tuesday, May 29, seating from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the St. James’ Anglican Church, 225 Edmund St. in Carleton Place. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors and children or $150 for a table of 6. They can be purchased at The Granary, The Beckwith Butcher and at The Hunger Stop, as well as online.
