The Merrickville Canalfest got off to a slow start on Saturday, Aug. 5 with dark clouds threatening the day’s events but, as the hours and clouds passed more and more people ventured out to enjoy the three-day festival.

Kid shows and live music are on the main stage, ground entertainment is happening throughout the park alongside a vendor market. All will be onsite at Blockhouse Park until Aug. 7.

Canalfeast is provided free of charge by the Lions of Merrickville with the support of the Village of Merrickville/Wolford and the Merrickville Chamber of Commerce.
