At the Carleton Place Corporate Services Committee meeting, held at the beginning of the Feb. 20 council session, council voted to forward a bylaw to their next full meeting to officially appoint Trisa McConkey as the town’s treasurer and to move Phil Hogan (the current holder of that position) to deputy treasurer until his planned retirement in May. McConkey previously served as Perth’s deputy treasurer.

Hogan has been with the Town of Carleton Place for 25 years.
