Smiths Falls December Mobile Donor Centre held in honour of late SFDCI teacher Kristine MacLaren

WHAT: Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute (SFDCI) staff have adopted the December 5th Smiths Falls Mobile Donor Centre In Honour of the late Kristine MacLaren.

In May of 2017, Kristine MacLaren, Music and Arts Teacher at SFDCI was diagnosed with a leiomyo sarcoma- a rare form of cancer originating from smooth muscle. During her treatment Kristine required close to 40 units of blood.  Kristine Maclaren, 46, passed away on Thursday, July 5 at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. Loved ones were by her side.

WHEN: Wednesday December 5th from 1 pm to 4 pm & 5 pm to 8 pm

WHERE: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95 – 7 Main St East, Smiths Falls, ON
