Three men charged in Tay Valley home robbery

(TAY VALLEY TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Detectives from the Lanark Detachment Crime Unit have charged three men in relation to a robbery in Tay Valley Township.

At 11: 56pm on Wednesday October 4, 2017 officers were called to a residence on Stanley Road in Tay Valley Township.

A man living at the address had been assaulted and sustained minor injuries.

Jesse Vaisanen (34 years) of the Township of  Lanark Highlands, Maxwell Langford (19 years) of the City of Cornwall and James Larmon (29 years) of Drummond North Elmsley Township, are each charged with:

One (1) Count               Break and Enter Dwelling House – Commit Indictable Offence.
One (1) Count               Robbery with Intent.
One (1) Count               Wear Disguise with Intent.

Vaisanen is also charged:
One (1) Count               Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Probation

Langford is also charged:
Three (3) Counts          Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Probation
One (1) Count               Fail to Comply with Sentence
Two (2) Counts             Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Larmon is also charged;
One (1) Count               Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to a Probation
Three (3) Counts          Fail to comply with Probation Order.

Each charge is contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. All three men were held in custody pending a Bail Hearing at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.
