We have an opening for a Multi-Media B2B Advertising Sales Representative.  We will be expanding our team by 1-2 experienced and enthusiastic individuals.  This is an ideal position for a retired salesperson looking or someone looking for flexibility to set their own schedule and join a growing media company . We are looking for talented senior inside sales representatives that thrive in a quick sales cycle environment. This is a commission based position.  

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand your database of prospects with your assigned territory, must be a hunter.
• Process outbound and inbound calls to and from existing clients as well as resources to find new clients.
• Close sales and achieve weekly/ monthly quotas/goals
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Promote local publications and sell promotional advertising to current and new clients
• Use mediums such as website, social media, email and in person to source leads
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.

Key Accountabilities

• Advertising Sales experience required
• Fast learner and passion for sales, can handle rejection
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ideal candidate is community minded, outgoing and energetic individual
• Must be fluent in the English language with no limitations
• Strong phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectively
• Effective organizational skills, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks appropriately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven and demanding environment.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
• Must have reliable laptop computer and cell phone with data coverage.
