Top 3 issues facing your municipality and its residents that council has control or major influence over:

1. Citizen and Community Engagement

2. Growth

3. Infrastructure

Your solutions/approach to those 3 issues:

Instead of the word issues, let’s consider the challenges and opportunities facing our town.
Choices for the three challenges are all intertwined, with increasing growth comes challenges in infrastructure to make sure the needs of the citizens are met and that we can maintain our small town feel at the same time.

We need to all work together, new and long time residents. With all our community has to offer we can keep Carleton Place a beautiful little town while still keeping an eye on the future. Only by working collaboratively can we meet the challenges ahead.

Do you own (or have a stake in) or operate a commercial/industrial business in your municipality? (Including vacant development lands or rental units): No
