Top 3 issues facing your municipality and its residents that council has control or major influence over:

Tenor and productivity of Town Council Meetings

Low-income Housing

Environmental Concerns With Regard to Mississippi River

Your solutions/approach to those 3 issues:

We need more transparent government, accurate information on the choices that face us, and open discussion of all issues. This means that we need to have more open forums with all stakeholders, broadly-distributed records of these discussions, and public engagement before Council meets to decide on these issues. I would work to get the information out to everyone in Carleton Place, to ensure that our local government represents everyone in the community.

Do you own (or have a stake in) or operate a commercial/industrial business in your municipality? (Including vacant development lands or rental units): No
