DRUG WARRANT AT GROW OPERATION RESULTS IN CHARGES

(Beckwith Township, Ontario) – On Monday July 11th, 2016 members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by members of Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) Warrant to Search at a commercial property in Beckwith Township (ON), which led to the arrest of Adam GUNDERDSON-LORD and John ARMSTRONG of Ottawa.

During the investigation the following items were seized:

• 2012 cannabis marihuana plants in various stages of growth.
• 25 pounds of cannabis marihuana bud
• 26 grams of cannabis resin (hash)
• Hydroponic Growing Equipment

The following charges were laid against Adam GUNDERSEON-LORD (37 Years old) of Ottawa (ON):

• Production of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana
• Possession of a Schedule II Substance-Cannabis Resin

The following charges were laid against John ARMSTRONG (36 years old) of Ottawa (ON):

• Production of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana

Both accused men were held in custody and a bail hearing on July 13th, 2016, and released on a Recognizance of Bail at Ontario Court of Justice, Perth, ON. Both will appear in court on August 15th, 2016
