PDG media is an independent newspaper and digital media publisher. We are looking for a reliable and results-oriented person to join our team. We need someone who knows how to sell print advertising packages that compliments editorial in edition to understanding the opportunities on the web.
Responsibilities and Duties
Th person we hire must be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently but also as part of a small team.
Qualifications and Skills
Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:
- solid understanding of digital marketing and advertising
- excellent communication skills (we need you to be able to talk to the clients but also work with the production team)
- experience generating sales and prospecting for new clients
- ability to develop creative proposals for prospective advertisers
- time-management skills so you can meet targets and deadlines
- ability to make effective decisions and deliver the outcomes
- proficiency with the Google Suite of products (gmail, calendar, Drive,)
- familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce
Benefits and Compensation
We will provide a base salary as well as commission. Salary will be determined based on experience. Commission is yours to earn with no caps.
What else you need to know
We are located in Smiths Falls but reach all of Lanark County. Our primary markets are Smiths Falls, Carleton Place and Perth. Our ideal candidate will already live in the surrounding areas and have some solid business connections, or have current knowledge of the area.
