Kemptville 73’s steal a win from Smiths Falls Bears

On Jan. 5 the Smiths Falls Bears faced off against the Kemptville 73’s in junior hockey action at home in front of a crowd of 288 fans. In the end, it was the guests who took away the 1-0 win.

The lone goal of the game was scored by Kemptville’s Jared Patterson with a powerplay during the second period.  The 73’s outshot the Bears 37 to 27 total during the game.

First star of the game went to Nick Bond (KEM), second star to Kyle Renauld (SFB), and third star to Jared Patterson (KEM).

And last but not least, much cheering and applause went through the crowd when the news were announced during the game that the PEE WEE B HOUSE BEARS had been selected as semi-finalists for the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup.
