The Smiths Falls Pee Wee Bears held a tailgate party and food drive today to say thank you to the community for their support in the Good Deeds Cup. Free hotdogs, cupcakes, treats and drinks were enjoyed by close to 400 Bears fans and family.

“What a great turnout. It just goes to show it’s not all about hockey.  This whole experience has been pretty awesome,” said Pee Wee Coach Keith Rhoden.

The Smiths Falls Junior A Bears were in attendance as well, supporting the Pee Wee team. Junior player Kris Lalonde said, “It’s very cool to play with these guys, the potential future Bears team.”
