OPP conducting investigation into a missing Rideau Lakes man

(LEEDS, ON.) –   Officers of the Rideau Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing an investigation into a missing Rideau Lakes man.

On June 6, 2018 at about 4:50 PM Rideau Lakes OPP officers responded to Delta in response to a missing person.

Daniel Slack, 68 years old of Delta was last seen on his acreage property at about 8:30 – 9:00 AM when he had taken his ATV for a ride. His ATV has since been located.

The OPP’s Canine, Emergency Response Team (ERT), Helicopter, ATV support, and Unmanned Aerial Support (UAS) are currently assisting with the search.

SLACK is described as:

  • Height 5’9″
  • 180 lbs.
  • Slim build
  • Clean shaven
  • Balding gray hair
  • Believed to be wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, tan ball cap with ‘Dan in real life’ on it.
