Top 3 issues facing your municipality and its residents that council has control or major influence over:

Regain trust and respect from local residents

The OVRT (Ottawa Valley Rail Trail)

The Community Official Plan

Your solutions/approach to those 3 issues:

I believe Staff and Council are in place to perform a service for the residents, we need to look hard at this relationship and improve everywhere we can to regain the respect and trust from the community.

The OVRT can and should be used by all taxpayers, we are a rural community and we are capable of using the trail responsibly. I believe it is a great opportunity for everyone as do our neighboring communities.

The COP as it currently stands is not ready and should not be approved until the new Council is in place.

Do you own (or have a stake in) or operate a commercial/industrial business in your municipality? (Including vacant development lands or rental units): The company I am currently with purchased land in the Industrial Park in Almonte.
