Dr. Bryan Pankow was welcomed to the Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic team on June 12 at an early evening open house.

Pankow, 26, was born in Smiths Falls, went to school in Perth, and continued his education at Queen’s University graduating from the Kinesiology program with distinction. From there he headed to The Doctor of Chiropractic Program at New York Chiropractic College graduating with academic honours.

While at New York Chiropractic College, he attended extra courses through the International College of Applied Kinesiology and earned his certification in Applied Kinesiology.

In welcoming Pankow, Dr. Mark Czubak commented there have been other young students who have come through the clinic and it’s good to see them coming home to roost (as Pankow and Dr. Natalie Bernicky have). For Pankow, returning to the area seemed natural as a lot of his family is established here — Mayor Shawn Pankow is his second cousin, is mother Theresa Lalonde is the principal at St. Francis de Sales school in Smiths Falls and is father, Mark Pankow, is involved with Smiths Falls minor football.

Smiths Falls Family Chiropractic is located at 22 William Street West, 613-283-4100.
