Position Sought: Councillor of Ward 4 North Crosby and Newborn

Currently Retired or Working (where?): Self employed as a beef farmer and cottager.

Former Elected Positions/Terms if applicable: I have served 34 years as councillor, reeve or deputy reeve.

Community volunteer experience (service clubs, local committees, fundraising, etc):  I have served on most committees and board in the township. I am presently serving as chair on the Committee of Adjustment and Planning and have done so for 16 years.

Top 3 issues facing your municipality and its residents that council has control or major influence over: Infrastructure, hamlet revitalization and lake preservation.

Your solutions/approach to those 3 issues: By working together as a council and promoting, as well as trying to keep our tax rate as one of the lowest in the counties.We must continue working toward 70 per cent hard surfaced roads, make our villages and hamlets attractive to business and tourists and protect one of our biggest assets – our lakes.
