After Thursdays 5:2 win over the Kanata Lazers in Kanata, the Bears managed to repeat this success with an identical boxscore at their Friday night home game against the Kanata team.
The first period saw no scoring by either team.

Anderson then went on to shoot his next goal during a powerplay advantage at 5:01, with assists credited to Ryan Richardson and Jacob Shankar. Trevor Poeze narrowed the gab for the Lasers with a shorthanded goal at the 9:00 mark, breaking clean through the Bears defenses. The Bears scored what eventually proved to be the game winning goal next, when Jacob Cuffley, assisted by Theo Todd and Fletcher Anderson, sent the puck into the net at 18:32. Kanata struck back just half a minute later with the second score by Trevor Poeze at 19:01.
But the Bears were on a roll that night and dashed away in the third period with two more scores. The first one was an unassisted goal by Joey Warywoda at the 1:55 mark, and the second one was shot by Reid Russett at 5:13 with help from his teammates Grant Rincke and Joey Warywoda.
