The Nov. 10 Smiths Falls Bears game against the Ottawa Jr. Senators at home ice was preceded by a Remembrance Day ceremony honouring our veterans, of which some were in attendance.
There were no goals in first period, but the second period started strong for the Bears. The home team got a two goal lead thanks to goals scored by Alex DiCarlo (8) and Shannon Dicarlo. That was quickly wiped out by Ottawa when they came with three goals in the same period.
End result was 2-3 loss for the Bears.

I think what you published was actually very logical.
But, think about this, suppose you were to create a killer headline?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, but suppose you added something that makes people desire more?
I mean Smiths Falls Bears put up good fight against Ottawa Jr.
Sens – Hometown News is a little plain. You could look at
Yahoo’s front page and note how they create
post titles to get viewers to click. You might try adding a video or
a pic or two to get people interested about everything’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it could make your posts a little
livelier.
Thanks for your feedback. We do include photos with all our posts and with hockey we try to include at least four or five. As you can see with this post, we’ve included lots. You’re right, the headline is a little bland. We’ll keep your feedback in mind for future. However, the one thing that entertainment sites often do is use “clickbait” to get people to read stories. We try not to do this so not to deter readers.
