SMITHS FALLS – The Falls Food Hub, a local non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to nutritious food and combating food insecurity within our community, is excited to announce its participation in WELLNESSFEST during Old Home Week. The event will take place on Saturday, August 3rd, at Lower Reach Park.

The Falls Food Hub team will be on-site to connect with community members and raise vital funds for their programs. Attendees are invited to meet the team and enjoy a delicious and refreshing Street Corn Rice Bowl, with an optional chicken add-on, served with crisp lettuce and savory feta cheese.

“We are thrilled to be part of WELLNESSFEST and connect with our incredible community during Old Home Week,” says Ashley Saunders, Operations Manager for The Falls Food Hub – “Every contribution, big or small, directly helps us expand our reach and provide essential food resources to those who need them most in Smiths Falls. We encourage everyone to come by, say hello, and enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a great cause.”

Funds raised during WELLNESSFEST will directly support The Falls Food Hub’s ongoing efforts to ensure all community members have access to healthy and nutritious food, strengthening the well-being of Smiths Falls.
