Smiths Falls Police drug warrant leads to charges

On 09 Sep 2016 members of the Smiths Falls Police Criminal Investigations Section completed a controlled drugs and substances investigation.  A search warrant was executed at a house on Daniel St in the Town on the early evening of 09 September.

Upon executing the search warrant officers found numerous persons inside as well as a quantity of cocaine valued at approximately nine thousand dollars.  Drug paraphernalia and cash was also seized in the residence as well as a pellet gun.

Charged and arrested with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime were:

Chaise LAHAISE aged 23 of Smiths Falls

Maxwell LANGFORD, aged 18 of Smiths Falls

Cayla KERR aged 28 of Smiths Falls

Robert McTavish, aged 20 of Montague Township

Joseph MORROW, aged 33 of Montague Township

Joshua LEACH aged 28 of Smiths Falls

One 24 year old Smiths Falls male is still outstanding and wanted by police.  The investigation continues.
