Traditional Pow Wow in Smiths Falls puts dancing on display

Dancers were one of the biggest highlights of the weekend.

The students of the Indigenous Studies Program at Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute hosted a traditional pow wow on Duck Island June 10 and June 11.

Traditional drumming and dancing was presented by the Mohawks of Akwesasne First Nations and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation.
