2021 to be a year of “great growth” in Smiths Falls

Councillor Brennan reported to town council during Monday night’s meeting that there has been lots of activity with the town Planning Committee. Currently, preparation is underway for construction of “a lovely three-unit Brownstone very close to the downtown.”  He thanked Karl Grenke, Senior Planner, and town staff for working with the neighbourhood and enabling that.

Brennan also shared that “in the not too distant future” the town would see an additional 170 units being built in Bellamy Farm. This is “great growth, and I look forward to working with council and the Planning Committee as we move forward on that one,” commented Councillor Brennan, “we’re busy-busy at the Planning Committee.”
