Almonte (Mississippi Mills)

Almonte Celtfest
Friday evening (July 4: 5 to 10 p.m.), Saturday (July 5: noon to 10 p.m.), Sunday (July 6: noon to 6 p.m.) in Gemmill Park, 182 Bridge Street. Celebrates Celtic, Indigenous and Francophone heritage with music, dance, workshops, vendors, and family-friendly activities. Friday night is a ticketed event. 

Almonte Farmers’ Market
Saturday, July 5, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beside the library on High Street. Local produce, crafts, food and sharpshooting knife sharpening. Ideal stop before Celtfest. 

Carleton Place

Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturday, July 5, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Market Square Pavilion, 7 Beckwith Street. Local produce, baking and handmade treasures.

Kids Fishing Derby
July 5 at Riverside Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. First 125 kids to register on site get a free derby cap. Every child receives a prize and a trophy goes to the child with the biggest catch. Free lunch and refreshments. See OPP, K-9 Unit, and the Carleton Place Fire Department with their truck.

Summer Flower Show and Ice Cream Social
July 5 at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin St. The Carleton Place and District Horticultural Society invites you to our Summer Flower Show. There will be flowers from members’ garden and designs created by the members, all of which will be judged.

Lanark

Lanark County Crafters Market
Saturday, July 5
, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 79 George St., Lanark. All local artisans, crafters & vendors. Something for everyone.

Perth

Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturday, July 5, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Crystal Palace. Riverside setting with produce, prepared foods and artisan crafts.

Perth Antique Show and Sale
Saturday, and Sunday, July 5 and 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Perth Civitan Club, 6787 County Rd. 43. Featuring dealers from across Ontario and Quebec, with a broad range of quality antiques. Admission is $7 per person.

Del Harper Little League Tournament
July 4-5, 9:30 a.m. at Conlon Farm. Come watch some all-star and selects’ little league action at the Minor and Major levels. Hosted by the Perth and District Little League. 

Smiths Falls

Downtown Summer Music Series with Luke Quattrocchi
Saturday, July 5, at 77 Beckwith St. N. from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Bring a chair and grab dinner downtown.

Kids, Cops & Canadian Tire Fishing Days
Sunday, July 6, at Lower Reach Park, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A great free family event with equipment provided for young anglers. Enjoy fishing, a barbecue and prizes. Free lunch for kids provided.

Smiths Falls Cruisers Car Club show
Sunday, July 6 at Lower Reach Park, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free admission, but for show vehicles, it’s $10.

Pancake Breakfast and BBQ,
Sunday, July 6 at Lower Reach Park Sunday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the BBQ. Hosted by the Smiths Falls Firefighters Association.

Westport

Jeff Callery live at The Cove,
Friday, July 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. Jeff has been playing music more than half his life and he hit the road young playing theatres across Ontario and Quebec and into New York State. Enjoy some local entertainment that is sure to make you smile – and dance!

Westport Market
Saturday, July 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 38 Concession Rd., Westport. Enjoy local produce and products in this open air market setting.
