The Smiths Falls Curling and Squash Club welcomed Rob Swan
SMITHS FALLS — The Smiths Falls Curling and Squash Club was proud to welcome New Brunswick curler Rob Swan on Friday, Nov. 7, as part of his ongoing Curling Across the Nation tour which is an inspiring journey to promote the sport and support local curling clubs across Canada.
During his visit, Rob joined club members for a fun and friendly evening of curling, sharing stories from his travels and his mission to highlight the importance of community curling rinks. His enthusiasm for the sport was infectious, and our members thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play alongside him, swap curling tales, and learn about his efforts to raise awareness for small-town clubs like ours.
Rob’s visit reminded everyone that curling is more than just a game, it’s about camaraderie, community, and keeping traditions alive. The club extends its thanks to Rob for including us on his cross-country journey and wishes him continued success as he brings his love of curling to rinks from coast to coast.
