Fatal single motorcycle collision in Lanark Highlands

LANARK HIGHLANDS, ON – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Lanark Highlands.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, officers responded to a report of a collision on Pine Grove Road, between Concession Road 8A and Giles Road.

Upon arrival, officers identified a motorcycle and its lone rider, a 66-year-old male from Carleton Place. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency responders, the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
