Doors Open Mississippi Mills
Sunday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sites that will be open include Old Town Hall, Old Mill Manor, St. Peter Celestine Church, MM Fire Dept. Station No. 1, MM Waste Water Treatment Plant, North Lanark Regional Museum, and the Mill of Kintail.

Beckwith

Mental Wellness Festival
Saturday, Sept. 27, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Beckwith Recreation Complex, 1319 9th Line. EarlyON play space, mental health and wellness resources, children’s entertainment, light refreshments, swag bags. Free event.

Outdoor Movie Night
Saturday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m. at Beckwith Park. The Beckwith Youth Committee presents Dog Man.

Carleton Place

Carleton Place Farmers’ Market
Saturday, Sept. 27, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Market Square Pavilion, 7 Beckwith Street. Local produce, baking and handmade treasures.

Delta

Delta Harvest Festival
Saturday, Sept. 27, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is an annual village-wide celebration of harvest. Food, vendor sales and tours of the historic Old Stone Mill National Historic Site are among the popular attractions. Car show, craft show, entertainment, and demo games to enjoy.

Middleville

British Home Child Recognition Day
Sunday, Sept. 28, noon to 4 p.m. at the Middleville and District Museum, Dr. Patricia Roberts-Pichette will speak about life in Birmingham, England in the 1800s and the Middlemore Children’s Emigration Homes. She will speak at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults. Light refreshments. The museum is located at 2130 Concession Road 6D Lanark.

Perth

Perth Farmers’ Market
Saturday, Sept. 27, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Crystal Palace. Riverside setting with produce, prepared foods and artisan crafts.

Perth’s Pathway of Heroes’ Motorcycle Parade
Saturday, Sept. 27, 2 p.m. through downtown Perth. Other events include Indigenous drumming, Rideau Canal Cloggers, refreshment at the Royal Canadian Legion, and visit the Hall of Remembrance.

Fleetwood Mac Mania Tribute
Saturday, Sept. 27, 8 p.m. Farrell Hall, 186 Gore St. Tickets at the door, $44.

Smiths Falls

Open Air Market
Friday, Sept. 26, 3 to 7 p.m. at Centennial Park, 2-22 Confederation Dr. Pick up some produce, check out the crafters and artisans. Food available on site.

Veterans Coffee
Friday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. to noon, Royal Canadian Legion, 7 Main St. Open to active and retired military and RCMP and families. Membership is not required. Come enjoy a beverage with a veteran.

Family Fun Day and Pull the Pumper
Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
at the Youth Arena. Touch a truck, yard games, vendors, sports’ groups info, pull the pumper at 1 p.m. Free admission.
