Lanark County OPP seeking assistance to identify persons resposible for break and enter and theft

Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking assistance from the public to help identify the person or persons responsible for a break, enter and theft at the Hopetown General Store. At 1:54 a.m. on Monday, May 4 an unknown person(s) forced their way into the business where they stole various items. It is believed the person(s) involved are male and that they were driving a silver-coloured motor vehicle.

If you have any information on this or any other crime, please call Lanark County Crime Stoppers (LCCS) anonymously at the toll-free number 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477). All calls to LCCS are confidential and telephone calls are not taped.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property and the seizure of illicit drugs or substances.
