OPP seeking assistance with theft of licence plates

Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking assistance from the public to help identify the person responsible for the theft of licence plates from a parked car. On the evening of Thursday, March 5 an unknown person went to an address on Bates Drive in the north end of Carleton Place and stole two Ontario licence plates from a Hyundai Elantra motor vehicle. 

If you have any information on this or any other crime, please call Lanark County Crime Stoppers (LCCS) anonymously at the toll-free number 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477). All calls to LCCS are confidential and telephone calls are not taped.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property and the seizure of illicit drugs or substances. Callers are not required to reveal their identity and they do not have to testify in court.
