Thank you, Crossing Guards!

During Monday night’s Committee of the Whole meeting in Smiths Falls, Director of Community Services Kerry Costello thanked two retiring crossing guards for their service to the town.

“Thank you to our crossing guards for their commitment and dedication to the children in our community,” she said. “We’d like to thank Donald Corrigal who served as a crossing guard. Donald’s post was at Ross and Percy Streets, and he is being replaced by Glenda Corrigal at that location.”

“Thank you to Marsha Saunders, she was located at Brockville and Broadview; Noella McPherson will be taking on that post.”

“We’d like to thank those two for their service, and thank all of our crossing guards for all their work so far this year.”
