LFK Green Party candidate announcement

The Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston Green Party of Ontario Constituency Association is pleased to announce that our candidate for the June 2022 election is Dr. Marlene Spruyt of Ardoch. Dr. Spruyt is a retired Medical Officer of Health and former family physician.

The vote was close after an exciting nomination contest with Maddy Dever, an autism and accessibility advocate from Carleton Place also seeking the nomination.

Marlene said “I have become increasingly concerned about the negative impacts of climate change on the health and well-being of our society and in particular vulnerable populations. The Green Party provides an exciting opportunity to support individuals, families, communities and businesses in their transition to a low carbon economy that will be sustainable for future generations.”

Marlene can be contacted at mespruyt@hotmail.com or 416-605-0995. Twitter: @MarleneSpruyt Ormond Lee, LFK GPO CA President, can be contacted at ojfoxlee@gmail.com or 613-267-7584.
