Easter Eggspress at RMEO

During Monday evening’s council meeting, Councilor Lorraine Allen shared exciting news from the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario. The first train ride excursion of 2022, the Easter Eggspress will take place on Saturday, April 16. The Easter Eggspress will take adventurers on a train ride along the Rideau Valley Short Line, Canada’s shortest railway.

Tickets are $11.25 per person, and are available at Eventbrite.

This one-of-a-kind historical railway experience will also be paired with the delight of a petting zoo in springtime: Countryside Petting Farm will be set up at the Museum, and the cost of enjoying the zoo is included in the train ticket.

Pony rides will also be available.
