Lanark OPP investigation a fatal collision involving a pedestrian

The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a single vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on County Road 43. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. The highway has been closed between Glenview Road and Station Road for the purposes of the investigation. Technical Collision Investigation Team (TCI) and an OPP Collision Reconstructionist are on scene to assist.  This closure will be in place for several hours. Updates regarding the re-opening of the road will be provided when available.

No information regarding the identity of the persons involved is being released at this time pending notification of family members.
